After writing 70 Hubs I thought my traffic and revenue would increase. It has been the exact opposite. My traffic has decreased. I have been using other websites such as Web Answers, Flixya, and Blogger. It seems like unless you are constantly writing and promoting the websites, then they don’t get much traffic. I am beginning to wonder if writing Hubs is really worth the time or effort. It seems like I am getting a disorder constantly checking my Google AdSense account. How come I am getting no clicks today? My account must be broken.
My most popular hubs on Hub Pages are writing about the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. I really don’t know if anyone is clicking on the Google Ads on these Hubs. It might not be worth the time or the effort to figure it out.

As everyone knows, the key to making money on Hub Pages is creating content people want to view. How do you use high paying key words on these types of Hubs? I have discovered that also may want to find the highest paying click for view ads on Google. Google does not make this information public. 7search.com does make this information public. The top key words from the website are online casinos, debt consolidation, online casino, psychic reading, buy fioricet, buy tramadol, grant for single mother, casino slot machine, how to eliminate credit card debt, and nutrisystem are high on the list. If you want to attract high paying ads to your website then you should use these keywords. My Hubs are about the oils spill so I can’t really use these key words.

There are Hubs that indicate there are key words to place in your hubs like student loan consolidation, rental cars, airport rental cars, or mesothelioma lawyers. Who knows if this works? Also Google Ad sense is not the easiest program to use. I have recently figured out how to track my hub pages. It takes awhile to figure it out. In Google Ad Sense, you can track the channels and figure out where you are getting the most clicks. You can then write more web pages related to the topics were you are getting your most clicks. I guess you could write hubs about making money with Hubs. This would probably get more clicks.

In conclusion, after writing 70 Hubs, I have really not figured out what works on this website. I would think that you should check out the highest paying key words and use these words in your Hubs. I think the key to generating more revenue is writing more Hub Pages including these key words. My Hubs with the most traffic have nothing to do with these key words. May be no one clicks on my Hubs that are about politics or oil spills? I really don’t know. In conclusion, after writing 70 Hubs, I really don’t know what works on this website. I guess you need to just find something you like to write about and don’t worry about getting clicks.
