My Predictions for the Broncos 2010 football season:
The Broncos started out great last year winning six games in a row. They ended the season 8-8. The team traded away Marshall and Cutler. In addition, the management fired Mike Shanahan when he did not make it to the play offs in 2008 with an embarrassing loss to the Chargers with the score of 52-21. Josh McDaniels did not get to playoffs last year.
I am wondering if the management will keep Josh McDaniels around. I am wondering if Tim Tebow will help. He may be able to coach a younger player since he is so young himself. Maybe that is why Cutler left or maybe he was just a big baby. They should call back Jake Plummer. Orton does have a good quarterback rating but he does not make big plays. He is good at controlling the football. Maybe they should let Orton try some hail marries passes in practice so when they get in to the games they might actually have a chance at making one of these passes.
In my opinion, McDaniels tries all these fancy plays when the team just really needs to work on the fundamental and just winning games. That is just my opinion. You need to actually have a good team like the Patriots to try all the trick plays or they do not work. I also think that I could coach and call plays better than him. He really does call some stupid plays. They are paying the guy $8 million dollars. I would have coached for half the money. Here are my predictions.
DENVER BRONCOS 2010 SCHEDULE
1 Sun 09/12 1:00 Denver @ Jacksonville
The Broncos should win this game. The Jaguars record was 7-9 last year. The Broncos should win this game unless they have a really bad season.
2 Sun 09/19 2:05 SEATTLE @ DENVER
The Broncos will win this game. The Seahawks record was 5-11 last year. However, the Broncos always used to play the Seahawks and had problems winning against them when they were in the same conference.

The Broncos will loose this game for sure. They always loose to the Colts. Payton is a great leader. The Denver Broncos is no match for his offense and the Denver offense can not score enough points to keep with Payton and his well run offense.

The Broncos will loose this game. The Tennessee Titans had the same 8-8 record as the Broncos last year so it this game is tough to call. If the Broncos start out bad, then they will most likely loose this game.

The Broncos will loose this game. The Raven’s record was 9-7 last year. The Broncos seem to always have a problem with the defense of the Ravens. I predict the Broncos will loose this game.
6 Sun 10/17 2:05 NY JETS @ DENVER
The Broncos will loose this game. The Jets went 9-7 last year and clinched a wild card in the playoffs. There is no way the Broncos will this game unless they start playing like a Super Bowl team. I really don’t see that happening with all the turmoil and turnover in Denver.

The Broncos will win the game. However, Oakland loves to beat the Broncos in Denver. It does not matter if they have lost every other game in the season beating the Broncos in Denver is like winning the Super Bowl for the Raiders. The Raiders were 5-11 last year. Their record really doesn’t matter when it comes to playing the Broncos. If their quarterback is on then they can make some amazing plays.
8. Sun 10/31 5:00 Denver @ San Francisco (London)
The Broncos will loose this game. However, the 49ers record last year was the same as the Broncos at 8-8. It seem like the 49ers are getting better while the Broncos are getting worse so I will go with the 49ers.

The Broncos will win this game. Kansas City has problems over the last couple of seasons getting anything going.

In the past Denver usually wins the first game of the season played against San Diego and then San Diego kills them right before the playoffs. I would predict a win in this game, but it is so late in the season.
12 Sun 11/28 2:15 ST. LOUIS @ DENVER
Denver should win this game. The Rams were 1-15 last year. Denver should win this game unless their whole season falls apart.

Denver should win this game. The Kansas City Chiefs were 4-12 last year. Unless something changes with the Chiefs Denver should win. However, they did loose last year to the Chiefs in a 42-22 blowout late in the season last year. It is like the Broncos just gave up.

Arizona should win this game. Arizona was cheated out of the playoffs last by some bad calls. Arizona was 10-6 last year. If this team is like last years team then Arizona should win this game.

Denver should win this game. Denver seems to play better in Oakland. I don’t know why the fans are really mean in Oakland. Maybe the team gets more fired up for the game.

Denver should loose this game. The Houston Texans were 9-7 last year.
17 Sun 01/02 2:15 SAN DIEGO @ DENVER
Denver will not win this game. San Diego has a way beating Denver at the end of the season.
In conclusion, I predict that the Denver Broncos will go 8-8 again and will not make the playoffs. However, I predicted last year that the Broncos would not win a single game so I may be wrong again. San Diego will make the playoffs from the AFC West.
If the management fired Mike Shanahan for less, I am really wondering how much longer Josh McDaniels will stay in Denver. Mike was a class act. He did not cuss during games. Josh wears his stupid Patriots hoodie to try to be like Bill Belichick. Josh is too young to be a head coach and reflects poorly on the Broncos when he is constantly cursing on TV.
I don’t think he will stay in Denver if there is not a winning season in three years. His contract is for $8 million for four years. He has been there a year. He has three years to do something with Tim Tebow and Orton to bring a winning season to Denver. Bill Belichick won the games for the patriots with Tom Brady and a great defense. Josh did not and Denver does not have the great players like the Patriots did during their Super Bowl wins. The Broncos should have got Bill Belichick not someone who thinks there as good as Bill Belichick. I think Denver is starting to expect a winning season. The Denver Post Blog is devoted a blog as to whether or not Josh should be let go from the Broncos. It is not like the 80s anymore when I thought the Broncos would never win a Super Bowl. I hope Josh does have a winning season, but I am not predicting it.
