BP gets terrorist released for profits

I found this webpage indicating that British Petroleum lobbied the British government for the early release of the Lockerbie bomber Abdelbaset al-Megrahi in exchange for a $900 million offshore oil drilling deal with Libya. Here are some links to the web sites:

This is just more evidence that BP will place profit above anything. They have placed profit above terrorism and the environment. I think we should just boot BP out of the US and be done with them. They have destroyed the South. They really don’t seem to care as long as they are making a profit.

It makes me wonder who is really in charge of our government. No American citizen really wants the two current wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. The government acted on false intelligence to invade Iraq and the war in Afghanistan will never end. Who really benefits from the US military being in these areas? It is the oil companies. They have pipelines and operations in the areas. They have the most to gain. The US military will not leave these areas because the oil companies own the politicians. These oil companies do not care about the US or its environment. They care only about profit. They should rename the company Big Profits. Actions speak louder than words. BP actions say they don’t care about the US, its environment, or its security. BP’s actions say they just care about profit.
