North Korea promises nuclear response to US and South Korea military exercise

North Korea has promised a nuclear retaliation if the US holds joint training exercises with South Korea:

This story is really concerning. Where would they use a nuclear missile? Would they try to hit Hawaii or the west coast of the United States? We already have enough problems in this US without getting hit by a nuclear bomb. I hope the missile defense works. North Korea already tried to hit Hawaii on the 4th of July according to this article:

I have seen in the news that the US has been testing it in Hawaii. Nothing the government does seems to be working lately. I really wonder if our government shot down the missile on the 4th of July. I would think that they would warn the West Coast. They really don’t tell the public anything. According to the following article from the BBC, North Korea does have the missiles to hit the US:

The U.S. is sending the USS George Washington to the area:

Hillary Clinton is promising that the US will continue on with the exercises. She has condemned the North’s sinking of a South Korean boat. China seems to be backing North Korea. This situation could get bad in a hurry. All the news stories taken together show a story of escalation tensions. It may be time to start packing the car to head to Canada.
