John Daly: A great come back story!

John Daly is current second in the British Open. John Daly has returned to golf sober and slimmed down. His new show on the golf channel was a great success. You have to love a come back story. John Daly has stopped drinking and is serious about becoming a better golfer.

John Daly is a golfer for the common man. He is from Arkansas. He did not grow up on some rich country club learning the game of golf. This guy is just your average golfer. He started out drinking too much and now he is changing his life. I am happy for John.

This guy hit rock bottom and is bouncing back. He is current in second place at the British Open. He did win the British Open in 1995.
You also have to love his outfits. He sells his own brand of Loudmouth pants. His pants have been used by curling teams in the Olympics. They are getting popular. He is shown here in the ugliest sport jacket I have ever seen with all the past winners of the British Open including Tiger Woods. I think Tiger does not look amused with John’s choice of clothes.

If John Daly wins the British Open it would be one of the best come back stories in golf. This guy lost everything and was selling his clothes outside the Masters a couple years ago. You have to love John Daly’s story and his come back. Grip it and rip it John! We will be cheering for you to win the British Open and bring some good karma to the South.
