If you want to buy a used car, then you should do several things.

First, decide what type of car you wish to buy. Do you need a sedan or an SUV? What will you use it for?

Second, you should look up that car with consumer reports. You can go to library or do it online. You should she how consumers rate the vehicle.

Third, you should start looking for car. You can check your local papers or go to a used car lot. If you find a car you like make sure that you look up the value in NADA blue book. You can do this online.

Fourth, you should test drive the car. If you like the car, you do not need make a decision right away. You should take some time to review and discuss your decision.

Fifth, if you are serious about the car, then have a vehicle history report done on the car. This will show you if the car has been in accident. You don’t want to buy a car that has been in a major accident.

Sixth, you should take the car to mechanic. Make sure the mechanic is reliable. If the mechanic says the car is in good condition, then you should feel better about the car.

Seventh, ask your friends and family what they think about the car. Buying a car is a big decision and you should get all the help you can in the process.

This is just a suggestion and you should do your research if you intend to buy a used car.
