Will the American voters reelect Obama for a second term? Obama ran on platform of Hope & Change. Most Americans today see the Gulf of Mexico changing to into an environmental disaster and hope BP and the government will do something soon to stop it. Obama has not dealt with the Gulf of Mexico in a very executive manner. He has not taken control of the situation.
In addition, during the campaign he promised to end the war in Iraq and close Gitmo which probably got him elected over John McCain. This has not been completed even when Congress is controlled by Democrats. He did pass health care reform making it a crime to not have health insurance. I am sure insurance companies hoped and loved that change in the law.
The U.S. is facing numerous problems requiring executive action including terrorism, high unemployment and a housing bubble. Today, most Americans only have a small amount of change in their pockets and not much hope in their government to deal with problems. Do you think Obama will be reelected?
